Introduction

Animal Shamanism Level III and Level IV are both live classes held in Braidwood, and include time at A Place of Peace, giving you lessons with wild horses and kelpies to help cement your understanding of Level I and Level II.  The New Shamanism is experiential and we will enjoy fire ceremony, working with the elements, nature spirits and Mother Earth, journeying, poetry and song.  Fun!

Fire PitWhy Do Animal Shamanism Level III and Level IV?

These courses are particularly important if you want to work professionally with animals in any capacity.  They are also important for your own personal spiritual journey, as you work to shed your old skin and step into service.

Level III is about healing.  But when I say healing, I don’t mean that an animal is necessarily sick.  I mean that an animal may be suffering from soul loss, dis-ease, back pain, unseen injury,  depression, trauma, and so on.  This is the class where  you learn how to be a pillar of love for an animal, offering the very best possible alternative care.  So in this class, we focus on Listening, Tracking, Seeing, Alternative Methods of Healing and more.

By Level IV,  you should have a proficient grasp of  the silent language and we will use the time together to delve deeply into the craft, with each individual honing their skills in a mentoring environment.  We will also complete our work with the death and dying process, giving you the shamanic skills  and knowledge to assist animals in need.

These are the courses which take animal communication and understanding to a whole new level, wrapped in a shamanic bundle of processes and wisdom that put your feet firmly on the path of professionalism and  impecabiity.

What We’ll Cover

In Level III, we cover Listening, Tracking, Seeing, Alternative Methods of Healing and Behaviour.  We explore the element of Fire.

In Level IV, we cover Advanced Animal Communication, Death and Dying and Shamanic Lore.  We explore the element of Air.

Throughout this intense week, we will gather in ceremony, interact with live animals and the world of nature, and learn the path of impecability.

Student with Sarah the lambHow the Course Works

Ah, there is nothing like live teaching, and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the historic town of Braidwood, NSW.  But be ready for an intense and fun time, as  we joyfully meet the sacred Otherworld of animals and nature.

If you have not done so yet, please download the Participant’s Information Sheet and the Course Registration Form.  The former should answer all of your logistical questions, and the latter you will need to send to us once you have everything arranged.

Get ready to rock. By the time people are coming to this course, they have been studying with me a while, which means the quality of what we do, and the interactions that we have, are grounded on plenty of preparation. These are, indeed, some of the most fun and rewarding classes I do.

Common Questions

1. I’m having trouble paying for the course. Is there a payment plan?

You bet. I always prefer that people do my courses rather than not, and I try not to make the money an issue.  If you need a payment plan, please use the Contact page to send me a note, and I’ll have Andrew get in touch with you to work something out.

2. What are the pre-requisites?

You must have done Animal Shamanism Level II or the equivalent to do Animal Shamanism Level III, which is, in itself, a prerequisite for Level IV.

3. Can I do Level III, but not Level IV?

Yes. The two courses are separate, so if you cannot stay for Level IV, that is not a problem.

4. Will I get a certificate?

I get this question surprisingly often. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of certificates. What does a certificate of completion say? Someone showed up – but not much more. In this class, I am not grading you. The shamanic path is one of experience. I invite you to come on this journey for the ride, and for your own growth.

Plus, animal communication in particular takes time and experience to develop and hone, to make sure that you are coming at it from a healed place, and not from a space where you are projecting your stuff on your animal client. So, while I absolutely encourage people to practice what they learn out in the real world, I also want people to maintain a sense of perspective about where they are at in their process.

So I only give out certificates to students who have done the whole program (Animal Shamanism Levels I through IV, plus Engaging with the Sacred). Thanks for your understanding about that.

Student with wild brumbies5. I want to work with animals, but don’t necessarily want to be an animal communicator. Is this course for me?

Absolutely. While the teachings certainly incorporate animal communication, the scope is much broader than that, and will certainly be relevant to whatever you want to do with animals, from working with them professionally to simply sharing your life with them.

6. Do I have to stay at one of the places you are organising?

Of course not. Have a look at the Participant’s Information Sheet.  There are links to web sites where you can explore other options. But know that the places we organise are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
