The Lion’s Gate Portal: A Cosmic Invitation to Walk Through Fire and Remember Who You Are

I thought I would write about the Lion’s Gate Portal, as many don’t know its significance. And right now, as I have said before, it is vital we understand the time of prophecy we are in and the quest to bring us home to our true selves. Who are you really, what do you resonate with, and are you listening to the tiny prompts of your heart intelligence? Now is a perfect time to use these cosmic influences to help you find your way home to yourself.

And this Lion’s Gate is different. It’s more powerful, and it’s potent. It’s a time we really shouldn’t ignore. If you do nothing else this week, anchor in your dreams of the higher timeline, watch your thoughts, co-create your reality, and think of what is your core, what lights you up? Seriously, our next paradigm is supposed to be more fun. The Fae Elders call it the Age of Delight.

Right now, Mother Earth is birthing. The planet is erupting — earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, wild weather. The Ring of Fire is exploding. The timelines are splitting! Things aren’t “normal.” But they are on schedule as this old paradigm collapses. And we birth the new one.

The Portal’s peak is on August 8th. The very next day there is a full moon. The astrology is unlike anything we have seen in 6,000 years (according to astrologer Pam Gregory). This is huge. A pivotal time to truly make a conscious shift into new beginnings and anchor in the New Earth, embodying love, peace, kindness, compassion.

Imagine a gentle world where all species are revered. Where there is only benevolence. No enforced “management” of other species because everyone is telepathic and you really don’t need to manage sovereign beings. There’s no killing or rudeness, exploitation or greed. It is a world where all species have a seat at the table, including ancient trees, the stone people, the elementals and the animals.  This is the world I remember and constantly work t for from my sanctuary and activism to my teaching and writing.   A gentle world of peace and harmony among the seen and unseen. And obviously, there’s no need to eat each other, so fear no longer exists and the collective field is pure love. Humans will be operating with their full DNA on line. Truly, the age of delight.

Personally, I have been feeling the earth birthing as a roar inside me. An urgent call to write, to get the truth out there, to show up.

The resident mice have been agitated, wagging their tails in fury, telling me more upheaval is coming. They get like this with X-flares.

This morning on my dog walk, I asked Mother Earth if she could transmute the roar inside me. It was making me irritable. And I wanted to be peace. “It’s coming from me,” she said. I asked if there was anything I could do to help her. “Be the Light. Do what you have come here to do.”

I took a breath and, strangely, was able to let the roar go. And then I remembered it was the Lion’s Gate Portal. No wonder I was roaring inside.

What Is the Lion’s Gate Portal?

Each year, as the Sun blazes through the regal sign of Leo, a cosmic gateway opens — a shimmering corridor of light known as the Lion’s Gate Portal. Anchored by the heliacal rising of Sirius, our spiritual sun, and held in the heart-fire of Regulus, the royal star of Leo, this sacred alignment invites us to rise.

Sirius, long revered by the ancient Egyptians as the embodiment of Isis, returned each year to the morning sky to signal the flooding of the Nile — a divine renewal, a time of fertile abundance and celestial communication. The pyramids themselves were built in alignment with Orion’s Belt and Sirius, for these weren’t just stars. They were living gateways to higher wisdom. Sirius whispers across time, carrying codes of remembrance, soul lineage, and star origins, while Regulus ignites the lion-hearted courage to walk that wisdom into the world.

Together, these stars form a celestial chorus — Sirius singing to our souls, Regulus roaring through our hearts — calling us to awaken to a deeper truth. This is not just a date on the calendar. It is an initiation, a passage into expanded consciousness. A time to stand tall in your inner sovereignty and remember: you are starlight wrapped in skin, with a heart made to lead in love.

The Lion’s Gate Portal opens energetically around July 26 and remains active until August 12, peaking on August 8 (8/8) — a date that carries the vibration of infinity, balance, and higher alignment. It is a time when the veil thins, the frequencies rise, and the Earth is bathed in light codes of transformation, healing, and awakening.

Whether you see yourself as a starseed, a mystic, a faery, a dreamer — or simply someone curious and sensitive to the Earth’s rhythm — this is a powerful moment to tune in and work with the energies consciously.

What is a Timeline Shift?

I thought it was important to also explain timeline shifts.. as so many people are experiencing them  and talking about them right now.  And we are at another choice point.

Imagine your life like a story, and every choice you make helps write the next page. But what if there are many possible stories all happening at once — different versions of you, living slightly different lives, based on different decisions, thoughts, or energies? These are timelines.

A  timeline shift  is when:

• You make a big inner change — like releasing old beliefs or patterns

• You start thinking or acting from love instead of fear

• You experience a major wake-up call, breakthrough, or decision

• Or sometimes, the world around you changes in ways that feel sudden or surreal

In those moments, it can feel like you’ve jumped into a new version of reality — like something has subtly but meaningfully shifted.

This is  physics and frequency. Your outer world begins to reflect your inner vibration. The more you anchor peace, kindness, compassion, the more you align with a timeline (or version of Earth) where those energies are supported.

Right now, people around the world are choosing different realities — some still rooted in fear and control, others based in kindness and harmony. You might notice relationships falling away, dreams becoming clearer, your body reacting differently to things. It’s not random. We’re shifting timelines. And the choices we make — how we show up, what we focus on — help shape which version of reality we land in.“The Earth is offering us a chance to choose again. To step into a new story. As you shift timelines, you may notice people falling away — and it can feel confusing or even heartbreaking.. Please don’t think this is a punishment,  This is alignment. We are being returned to our soul family.  These are the ones who see you.  The people and beings your heart has always known, And they are coming now — gently, miraculously, one by one.

So if you’re in that space of letting go… trust. Your soul tribe is forming. The village is rising,. And you aren’t meant to walk alone anymore.

How It Affects the Animals and the Earth

The Lion’s Gate doesn’t just bathe humanity in light — it touches all beings, seen and unseen. The animals, ever attuned to frequencies beyond our own, may become quieter, more watchful, or more affectionate during this time. Or they could be out of sorts. They feel the shift. The birds sing differently. The wild ones grow still. The domestic ones may cling closer or become more vivid in your dreams. Nature listens, breathes, and absorbs these star codes, too — trees shimmer with memory, the wind carries whispers of change, and the Earth hums with the promise of renewal. This is a time to walk gently, to listen deeply, and to honour the sacred intelligence of the more-than-human world. They are not separate from this portal — they are guardians, guides, and participants in the great awakening.

I asked my dog Mahnie if she had any advice for others. She said, “Inside companions  are very attuned to the two-legged, who are attuned to the Great Collective. It’s important to note the chaos, but step outside it. When there is unsettled  Nature,, take time to notice what the mice are doing. They are highly attuned. The horses, cows and sheep all ground the energy. The goats dance with it. You can all do that too. We are not supposed to hold back the charge. We are supposed to stay rooted like trees, and let the rivers of light flow through us.”
