For countless generations, our ancestors marked the Winter Solstice as a sacred turning point. They watched the stars, tended the hearth fire, shared stories, and remembered an ancient truth:
The light always returns.
This year, I invite you to join me for a very special Solstice gathering as we journey beyond the veil into a realm called Aelara Sidhe. A place of remembrance where the sacred flame has never gone out.
When the World Grows Dark
We are living through challenging times. Many of us feel grief for the animals, concern for the Earth, and weariness from witnessing cruelty and division. It can sometimes feel as though the light is fading. Yet the old wisdom reminds us of something profound:
The light begins to return at the very heart of the darkness itself. And Winter Solstice is the moment we remember, and the moment we become Keepers of the Returning Light.
What is Aelara Sidhe?
Beyond the mists lies a hidden realm. A place where beauty, compassion, courage, wonder, and kinship with all life are still held sacred. A place where the Keepers of the Living Flame tend the fire until humanity remembers who they truly are.
On Solstice night, the gates of Aelara Sidhe (pronounced ah-LAR-ah shay) will open for the first time. Together, we will walk through the silver mists and enter this realm of light and held memory of fae traditions.
During Our Gathering We Will:
- Explore an ancient-style Celtic-inspired practice of tending the sacred flame and calling back the Light.
- Hear the story of Aelara Sidhe and the Keepers of the Living Flame
- Journey through the mists into Aelara Sidhe itself
- Visit the Hearth of Remembering
- Receive a symbolic lantern to carry back into the world
- Gather in community with kindred spirits who care deeply for animals, nature, beauty, and the future

On the longest night, we will gather.
We will light our candles. Together we will walk through the gates of Aelara Sidhe. And call back the light. Because, more than ever, the world needs lantern bearers.
