This is a warm, uplifting story about a time with I bundled up my (then) seven rescued dogs, who were mostly elderly and health-challenged, and took them on the trip of a doggie lifetime.  It was a healing journey taken at the behest of my senior dog Suki (that’s her on the right in the photo above).  Suki had arthritis, a heart murmur, and a huge mass on her lymph.  When I asked her, “What do you want”, she said, “I want more outings”.  So I decided to give her and the rest of the pack the trip of a doggie lifetime.

We started in Braidwood, and headed toward the Great Ocearn Road area in Victoria.  The footage was beautifully filmed by AFI Award-winning cinematograhper Anthony Jennings.

You know what? Humans aren’t the only ones who need to smell the roses.
