The Divine Feminine Resurgence: 6,000 Years in the Making
A Tale of Betrayal, Awakening, and Reclamation
Listening to astrologer Pam Gregory talk about this current astrological alignment as not being seen for 6,000 years made me curious.
Pam talks about how this is very much imitation energy. And a rehearsal for what we are stepping into, with the dreams we are dreaming coming to fruition next April/May, when the big lanets, currently retrograde, move into their long-term positions in the sky. Yay!
People are struggling to throw off their old conditioning, to really come to terms with the core of themselves as they prepare to step into who they are becoming. This is that energy!
For myself, the Feral Faery Bard sums it up! It allows me to be me right now. I’m bubbling over with creative ideas to help bring about the social change needed for the Prophecy of Peace to come to fruition. Like.. a change of perspective ion how we deal with our animal family.. wild and “domestic”.
The Prophecy of Pece is an indigenous prophecy I first heard about in 1978. The Hopi predicted a time of Earth Changes, followed by a Golden Age of 1,000 years of peace. My soul woke up then and there… and I remembered that is what I was here for.
The Prophecy, I soon learned, was echoed by indigenous cultures everywhere. Even the Fae Elders talked about it. They called it the Age of Delight. (I talk about this in my booklet and card deck, The Fae Elders Guide to the Higher Dimensions.) The Inca call it the great turning. They understood the world was upside down and would turn the right way up.
A lot of people are struggling right now. They don’t fit their old paradigm. They don’t know what the new one is. Yet.
If this is you, go deep. Talk to your future self. It’s really time to think out of the box. If your dreams or heart are talking, listen. Keep taking steps toward the collective shift we are all creating. Loving kindness to all beings is key. What Happened 6,000 Years Ago?
There was a story I heard around the sacred campfire during my study with indigenous peoples. It was about a time when the matriarchy ruled, but then the “sky gods” arrived. And disruption to the natural order began.
This ties into the idea of ancient matriarchal societies being infiltrated by the forces that would eventually lead to the rise of patriarchy and the separation from the natural world.
The Matriarchal Societies Before the Patriarchal Shift
So imagine a civilisation centred around the Divine Feminine — goddesses were at the heart of spiritual, social, and cultural life. People living in harmony with nature, with a focus on balance, community, and nurturing — values associated with the Earth Mother archetype.
These matriarchal cultures were in various parts of the world.. including Mesopotamia. According to Sumerian and later texts, they were infiltrated by the Anunnaki… sky gods… about 6,000 years ago.
The Infiltration of the Patriarchal
These extraterrestrial beings or powerful spiritual beings introduced a different system of beliefs — domination, control, and the establishment of a hierarchical structure.
The Anunnaki wanted to mine gold and other resources, and wanted humans as a servant species. They brought a belief that Earth was a resource to be conquered, and that human beings were to be ruled.. Sound familiar?
Matriarchal Societies in the Broader Context
Though Sumer and Mesopotamia are key areas of this rise in patriarchy, there’s also the Minoans in Crete, the Indus Valley civilisation, and the Celtic countries of Britain, Ireland and France who were later influenced by the Romans and the spread of Christianity.It’s also intriguing to note these new religions like Judaism and Christianity (Adam and Eve origin story) were said to have begun about 6,000 years ago. (As I write, the year number on the Jewish calendar is 5,785.)
The Enduring Influence of the Patriarchal Shift
The shift to patriarchy created a ripple effect that lasted for millennia. Gods replaced goddesses, masculine ideals became dominant, and the connection to Earth’s wisdom was severed.
I don’t want to go into the darkness too much. We are currently living with the result. But we saw the persecution of the Druids, the Inquisition, the elxecution of the Cathars, and the wise men and women in the Burning Times… to name a few.
Today we see the result — a complete disconnection from nature and the careless extinction of other species. Words like “culling “and “feral pests” are used as spells to deaden the hearts of humans, cutting them away from kinship with nature and the memory of oneness with all.
It is both sickening and frightening to see the casual cruelty accepted toward beings and our Mother, whom we once held sacred..
But even in the face of this cosmic betrayal, the wisdom of the Divine Feminine has never truly disappeared. It has always been there, hidden in plain sight, waiting for the right moment to reawaken.
This reawakening is now happening, as we see the resurgence of the Divine Feminine and the restoration of balance. The astrological alignments today echo the energies of the past, offering a powerful opportunity to heal the wounds inflicted by the rise of patriarchy and to reclaim the wisdom that was lost. As we move forward into this astrological alignment, we are being called to reclaim the sacred wisdom of the Earth, the Divine Feminine, and the Goddess. The ancient matriarchal societies that once flourished are not lost — they live on in the roots of the Earth, the whispers of the trees, and the hearts of those who still honour the land.
Now is the time to restore balance, to remember what was once known, and to awaken to the wisdom that is our birthright. The Divine Feminine is returning, and we are the ones who must help it rise again.
Remember, peace reigned in the societies that honoured the Earth Mother and revered the Divine Feminine. The Goddess was not just a deity, but a living force that breathed life into the world. It was a time when people lived in balance with nature, working alongside the living being Earth, honouring her cycles, and feeling the interconnectedness of al..
Humans were rooted in the wisdom of the Earth, where the feminine energy was revered for its nurturing, creative, and intuitive qualities. The land thrived under their care, and the people honoured the goddess in all things.
Life might have looked simple, but it was deeply spiritual, earth honouring and Feminine led.
So this time’s astrological force might herald a resurgence of the Divine Feminine, the healing of ancient wounds, and the chance to reclaim our true selves as people in tune with the natural world, honouring and even becoming a keystone species alongside other animals to bring not just harmony.but abundance for all species.

Today, we are being offered a second chance to heal the wounds of the past. This isn’t just about spiritual awakening — it’s about reclaiming the Earth’s wisdom and returning to balance with the natural world.
We are at a pivotal moment, a time when we can either continue down the path of disconnection or we can awaken to our true nature. The Divine Feminine is not only rising — it is calling us back to the Earth, to the wisdom of our ancestors, and to the sacred connection that once existed between humanity and nature.
How Can We Harness This Energy for Good?
This astrological alignment invites us to use the energies of the Divine Feminine to transform the world. Here’s how we can use this cosmic opportunity for good:

- Spread Love and Compassion. The Divine Feminine teaches us to lead with love, kindness, and empathy. We can create a world that honours life and sees the interconnectedness of all beings. Stand up for justice and balance in every area of your life.
- Awaken Others. Share the message of the Divine Feminine’s return and how it is linked to the healing of the Earth. This is a time for transformation, a time when we can reclaim our true essence and restore harmony with our Mother.
The Great Awakening
As we stand at this astrological crossroads, iIt’s time to reclaim our connection to the natural world and awaken to the sacredness that has always been within us.
This is our moment to break the spell of disconnection and step into the light of balance and wholeness. The ancient wisdom is here, calling us to return to ourselves and to the Earth. Together, we can create a world that honours the Divine Feminine, restoring harmony and peace for future generations.
The Far Elders say the Old Ways never disappeared , but are held as codes within , waiting to be awakened. But they are alive and well in the animals and in nature. You will never see a tree being unkind. And human -partnered animals like dogs, cats and horses, are just love, and can open human hearts to truth remembered .They say the Age of Deligh is already here.. just waiting for humanity to realise it
