Nature of Animal Healing: The Definitive Holistic Medicine Guide
to Caring for Your Dog and Cat, by Martin Goldstein, D.V.M I love this book because Goldstein is a holistic vet who provides solid complimentary information. For example, when Tala became paralysed and I read in his book that if the dog can wag her tail, acupuncture was the correct path, it made me realise that I was on the right track. The book covers a range of ailments and gives recommended treatments. It also touches on the spiritual aspect of animals. Like Pitcairn (below), Goldstein recognises the importance of the human's good health and emotional state in keeping their companion animals as healthy as possible. |
