Course
Reminder
Hi
Everyone,
Just a quick note to remind you all of my upcoming Rainbow
Fianna courses Path of the
Wild Pure Heart and Munay Ki Foundation,
to be held in Braidwood, NSW, from August 20. Please find attached
a flyer which you might print out and stick up somewhere or send
to your friends. We have a lovely contingent from both Melbourne
and Perth coming over for both courses, and the class promises to
be both powerful and sweet, filled with the new information I’ve
gathered in my recent travels. I’m really not sure when I
will be offering these courses again as the rest of the year is
so incredibly busy.

Billie
at the Irish Centre for Shamanic Studies, Dunderry Park, Ireland
Keep Ireland's Tara Safe
I’m
just back from filming in Ireland and England for my new film, where
I also took the opportunity to experience the Munay Ki Rites at
a deep level on the land in Ireland and especially on Tara, a very
special sacred site under threat from a motorway through the valley.
Our group of 20-odd shamans did ceremony around the vigil fire and
used the power of our collective creative mind to see Tara as saved
and untouched. Please join us in seeing Tara as untouched and lending
your voice to the protest. There’s a great aerial photo of
Tara here. And for more
information go to Save Tara.
You can also email info@savetara.com.
While on Tara, I met the little people of the Tara Fairie Tree who
welcomed home many of our group. This was deeply moving and profound
for us all. The fairie do not want to see Tara meddled with and
were quite clear about this. They also echoed the advice I have
been receiving from the animals, that it is vital we keep our vibration
high through “a good party” and “having fun”.
Billie's
Overseas Animal Healing

Billie with the Donkeys of Dunderry Park, Ireland
Everywhere
I went I found myself with animals in need of healing, which I did
freely and gladly. I felt like a humble traveling animal wise woman
from ancient times with todays and yesterdays lives colliding in
magnificent clarity. One of the donkeys at the shamanic centre where
we stayed for the class had a wound which turned infected. The donkeys
were skittish and I rose extra early every morning to treat the
wound with calendula and silver colloid, the latter which I happened
to have on me. This took place without halter or any ropes at all,
in a large paddock with a very large dog and another donkey vying
for my attention!! Some of the other students, all experienced in
shamanic healing, assisted me in many ways, including keeping the
other donkey and the dog occupied and doing energetic healing. I
was also able to advise the centre about supplements for the pair
who had taken to chewing the fences. On the last day, the little
donkey showed me her wound, now clean, and her eyes were bright
with happiness. On my travels I also met several dogs who needed
a change of diet , a beloved rat who was no longer able to walk,
and a cat who embodied the spirit of her late person.

Billie with Thunder at Glastonbury Tor
Before
I left Ireland I shot some wonderful footage including an interview
with a vibrant Celtic shaman couple, John and Karen, and in England
I also interviewed Philip Carr-Gomm, Chief of the Order of Bards,
Ovates and Druids. After that, the camera crew decided to join me
in a wild ride to Glastonbury to take a pilgrimage to Glastonbury
Tor, a place which had been calling me all year for healing work,
which Thunder and I managed to do. I was thrilled Spirit had placed
me in the care of two wonderfully sensitive, animal-loving cinematographers
who will stay in my heart forever for their kindness, empathy and
generosity. Not to mention their wonderful photographic eye!
One of the things which impressed me during my stay was the similarity
of the energy of Ballyoncree to where I stayed in Ireland and also
in Glastonbury. I have long called Braidwood, Australia’s
Avalon with its strong yet gentle spiritual energy. People coming
to the Path of the Wild Pure Heart course will get to experience
the special energies of Ballyoncree, as we will be working with
both the land here as well as the Sanctuary animals.
Messages
from the Animals
Speaking of the Sanctuary, Andrew had the fascinating experience
of finding a baby goat waiting for him when he went to feed the
thoroughbreds across the creek right on dusk one night. Inside,
the baby showed no fear, but simply wandered over to the hearth
Fire Mother who has nurtured both Samson and Totem, and sat down
in front of it as if he had done it many times before. We decided
the goats have been talking about life inside our house and decided
its OK.

Looking
forward to meeting all those who will join us in Braidwood!!
May
you all be Blessed and Walk in Beauty,
Billie
