Donate to the
Ballyoncree Animal Sanctuary

Thank-you for donating to the Ballyoncree Animal Sanctuary. We are grateful for your support, and the animals say a big "thank-you".

Donations can be made using your bank's online software, PayPal (for recurring donations of standard amounts) or Paymate (for both one-off and recurring donations of any amount). You can also donate by doing someting you do anyway, paying your phone bill.

Some of the ways your donations help:

  • $2 feeds a horse a biscuit of hay.
  • $5 buys a day's supplements for high-need ponies.
  • $10 buys an epileptic dog a kilo of fish, which is part of a strict anti-allergy diet.
  • $25 pays for a horse's hoof trim.
  • $50 is 5/8 of the cost of an annual dental treatment for a horse.
  • $50 is 2/3 the cost of a 500 ml bottle of herbal worming, used for both dogs and horses.
  • $100 is roughly the full cost of caring for a horse per month (averaged over a year)

We are grateful for your help and support as we provide a forever home for these animals.

Using Your Bank's Online Software

In Australia, if you have online access to your bank account, then you can set up a recurring payment using the online software your bank provides. Simply make a payment to the Sanctuary's account (email for the details), and set it to recur. This approach has the advantage of not costing the Sanctuary anything in fees.

PayPal

Please use the buttons below to set up a recurring payment with PayPal.

Paymate

Alternatively, you can use the Paymate button below. Use this to specify any amount of donation. This can either be a one-off, or follow the steps below to set up a recurring payment with Paymate.

Pay with Paymate Express

Here are the steps for using Paymate:

  1. Click the Paymate button above to go to the Paymate Express Payment screen.
  2. Choose the country from the drop-down list, then copy the security code into the box. If you already are registered with Paymate, tick the box.
  3. Click Next to go to the second page of the Payment wizard. Enter your email, name and address as reqested.
  4. Click Next again to go to the third page of the Payment wizard.
  5. Here's where you need to be careful. You'll see the Recurring Payment line says "No". If this is a one-off donation, then leave it as "No".
However, to set this up as a recurring payment, click the Set Up link that is on the Recurring Payment line. This takes you to a separate screen that says "Set Up Recurring Payment". Here you need to select the frequency from the Select Period drop-down list. You also need to choose the number of payments. We suggest Option 2, which is Until Further Notice.
  6. Click Save Settings to return to the third Payment wizard page. You'll see that Recurring Payment now says "Yes".
  7. Enter the payment amount (this is what will be charged at the frequency you specify) and your card details. Tick the acknowledgement box, then click Make Payment.

If for any reason you need to cancel your recurring payment, simply contact the Paymate folks on clientservices@paymate.com. Note that we cannot change the recurring payment in any way on your behalf (which from a security standpoint is a good thing).

Many, many thanks for your support!
